“I spoke with David to unravel a few issues around work, stress and more general health. I work in a high pressure job and have a busy family life. Balancing and managing both effectively was becoming too big a task and I was becoming concerned about stress and my leaning on a quick five minutes with a pint and a cigarette.
I found myself feeling pretty down, finding focus increasingly problematic and I was generally out of sorts. With a handful of sessions with David I saw a dramatic improvement in my outlook and seem to have found the time and balance to enjoy the time I do have rather than worrying about the time I don’t have.
My health has taken a real turn for the better, I’ve not smoked in over a year and professionally speaking, I’m happy with my career and my performance. David is a sympathetic and kind listener and I’ve no hesitation to recommend him for either smoking cessation or more deep rooted issues around mental wellbeing. “ – Karl Baxter.
“I have spent the last twenty years on and off trying some type of diet which never had a lasting effect. I had put on some considerable weight and was feeling very low in confidence and motivation. I wanted to try something that helped me achieve my goals positively.
When I met Deborah I had just ended a relationship, was very overweight and my self esteem was low. I wanted help in losing weight, motivation to exercise and to build my confidence again.
Deborah made me review my whole outlook on going forward, made me look at my goals and how I could successfully achieve these. I have stopped dieting with the latest fad and have begun eating healthily. I have a new outlook on exercising and maintaining a healthier lifestyle as well as a more positive approach to life and the obstacles that come my way.
I was quite uncertain when I booked my first session as to whether this would make a difference as I am quite sceptical about a lot of things but I was proved wrong. I have taken control of my life and can gladly say that since I started this journey I have not diverted from my goals. To date I have lost 22lb’s, have not felt the need to use food as a comforter once during this time and actually enjoy exercising. I know that without Deborah’s guidance I would not have achieved this.” – Debbie Jennings.
“Thanks to David and his excellent training, clinical skills, and humble approach I was able to confront my anxieties and now continue living again. So many anxieties and thoughts were making life very difficult to get through and even waking up each morning was a struggle itself. But David always offered hope, curiosity and dedication to solve the problem. The treatment he offers is outstanding and I wish I had known about the hypnotherapy clinic sooner it truly has changed my life. I am able to live again. I have been struggling for two years and never thought things would change but after the first session I felt an immediate change. A few more sessions later and I was cured. Outstanding and definitely worth the time and money.” – Mita Patel.
“I believe that visiting you has truly helped me in controlling my stress and anxiety. Running a business and raising a family with 3 kids obviously brings a certain amount of pressures and stresses. The techniques and education you have given me during my visits have really helped me control my anger and frustrations. I am sleeping so much better and longer and can face the daily problems head on. Consequently I feel I am happier in myself, my family enjoy me being around more and I am performing better at work. Many thanks” – Steve Rollinson.
All my life and for as long as I can remember I have been petrified of dogs. My parents tell me I was never bitten or experienced an attack by one so I could never really understand my fear. I realised this fear was increasingly impacting on my daily life and interests as I would have to avoid certain public areas such as parks, pubs, country walking routes, friends’ houses etc. in case I would come in contact with a dog. I also found walking past a dog on a lead difficult. My ambition is to become a district nurse so with daily patient visits it was evident that I would come into contact with dogs at homes. Following my career decision I realised I needed to try and overcome my dog fear. A few friends suggested that I should have hypnotherapy sessions to help me but I was never sure they could cure a lifelong fear. However, I decided to try hypnotherapy sessions with David. The first appointment I had with David I thought was very professional and he took the time to do a thorough assessment of my fear and background. Following assessment the hypnotherapy began which involved listening to calming music and specialist vocal techniques that enabled me to focus on my fear and rectify it. David suggested that I needed five of these sessions which I did. The results are incredible, I now feel comfortable walking past a dog, I have visited friends and patients houses with dogs and I generally feel so much more relaxed around dogs. My friends and family cannot believe the change in me. The picture is evidence! I cannot thank David enough for helping me and highly recommend him to anyone seeking help with a fear or phobia. – Pippa Dixon.
“Dear David, I just wanted to email you something to use as a testimony. I had been having a frequent feeling of anxiety when trying to make life decisions and was repeatedly then changing my mind because the feeling of anxiety was so uncomfortable. I decided to try hypnotherapy with the aim of building confidence in the decisions that I make and to also reduce my feeling of anxiety.
When I met David he was friendly and explained how hypnotherapy would work. David spent time trying to find out what I wanted to achieve and how best he could support me to achieve this. I had a total of three sessions which were weekly, before David felt that it was probably enough and suggested that I go and see how I got on and if necessary in the future I could always come for a top up.
At the point of my first appointment I had been feeling very anxious and tearful. After just one session my family noticed that I seemed much calmer, which my Mum describes as if a switch was flicked off. By the end of the third session I felt much better, more confident and was no longer feeling anxious.
Recently I have had to make some important life decisions and I have for the first time felt able to trust my own judgement, have felt confident, happy and have not been tearful or anxious in the post decision period.
I cannot thank David enough for the difference that hypnotherapy has made to my quality of life and I would highly recommend that other people with anxiety try hypnotherapy.
Many thanks again.
Best wishes
Chloe Millington” – Chloe Middleton.
“I have suffered with IBS for over 10 years and have tried every option of treatment offered to me whether through the NHS or private, none of these have been successful, and during this time I felt I couldn’t control any aspect of my life because of the condition. Until my husband saw a documentary on hypnotherapy, I thought I have tried everything else why not give it a try. I researched this and found Deborah Mills, I started to feel the benefits after just 1 session now I feel like I have complete control and can enjoy life again. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone that lives with this condition. I now feel happy and confident in doing things I couldn’t do before.” – Nicola Walker.
“The treatment you have given me so far has been very beneficial. The hypnotherapy itself has taught me to relax with ease in stressful situations and has also helped me focus on the physical symptoms that the panic creates, I definitely recommend it to anyone who suffers the same of with anxiety issues. Many thanx David I will be back in touch.
As you can see from the photo, after 5 sessions with you. This wouldn’t of been possible without your help” – Louise Malley.
“For many years I have suffered with lack of or disturbed sleep, it was often due to noise, light or worries I had on my mind. I would struggle to drift off, it could take me hours and when I finally fell asleep I would often wake after a few hours and go through the same struggle again. On average I would sleep for 4-5 hours, this lead to me feeling consistently tired and having no energy.
I tried all sorts of remedies from reading books, natural and prescribed tablets but nothing worked. Then I heard of Curative Hypnotherapy, at first I was very sceptical but after the process was explained to me I gave it a go. In total I have had four sessions and from following techniques I was encouraged to do on a daily basis, my sleeping has greatly improved. I go to bed rested, fall asleep within minutes and wake up energised after a good 7-8 hours sleep. All I can say is that it has changed my life completely.” – Sue Strudley.
