Overcome Addictions
Generally when we think of addiction, we think of substance addiction, alcohol or drugs etc. And these are common problems for us to treat at the clinic. Addictions, though, can come in many different forms, not always involving substances. For example gambling and shopping addictions. There are similarities between the ways the addictions are formed and therefore in the way they can be treated.
At the clinic we use curative hypnotherapy to allow the patient to go back to the initial event that was integral to the way the addiction was formed. They can then view this event with adult eyes i.e. with what they now know. This then leads to a ‘eureka’ moment and the initial cause of the problem is realised. This realisation then leads to a change in perception of that event and how that event affected their future life leading to the addiction. The change in perception will then lead to a complete resolution of symptoms i.e. the addiction will no longer be present.
